Code of Conduct for MIUR Employees

ConMinisterial Decree 30 June 2014, n. 525 the Code of Conduct for MIUR employees was approved, that, in compliance with the provisions of art. 54 of the Legislative Decree. n. 165/2001 as replaced by the art. 1, comma 44 of the L. 190/2012 bearing “Provisions for the prevention and repression of corruption and illegality in the public administration”, integrates and specifies the Code of Conduct for public employees pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 62/2013.
 The rules contained in the Code apply to all personnel employed and in service at the MIUR (Central and peripheral administration), including those with managerial qualifications, with permanent and fixed-term employment contracts, full time and part time, as well as the assigned personnel. Furthermore, the duties of conduct and the obligations of conduct of the Code also apply, to collaborators or consultants with any type of contract or assignment for any reason, to the holders of organs and offices in the offices of direct collaboration with the Minister; to employees or collaborators in any capacity of companies and firms supplying goods or services to the administration and who carry out their activity within the Ministry or at the USR.
 The violation of the obligations established by the Code integrates behaviors contrary to official duties and is a source of disciplinary responsibility as well, in the foreseen cases, of criminal liability, civil, administrative or accounting.
